Andriod Game Designer at PlayMada Games

PlayMada Games is looking for a creative genius to join our team as a Game Designer. The ideal candidate will work closely with our content, design, and development teams to design cross/multi platform learning games in chemistry.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design interconnected learning game modules for high school students using an existing content framework and game structure
• Collaborate with subject matter and pedagogy experts to come up with the most effective and engaging ways to provide a deep understanding of scientific concepts through play
• Deliver a wide range of fresh ideas with an openness to exploring ideas from others
• Assist with paper prototyping and playtesting with students throughout design and development
• Maintain clear and concise game design documents and specifications
• Work with our production team to ensure game mechanics and educational content translate accurately and clearly
• Analyze gameplay based on usage data and user feedback and incorporate improvements into subsequent updates and/or products

Experience:

• 3+ years game design experience
• Experience taking an idea from ideation to launch
• Experience with cross-platform design, specifically mobile and web
• Must have a focus on interaction design, user experience, usability, and visual detail
• Bachelors degree required - Game Design or a related field preferred
